THE DEMOCRATIC "TO DO" LISTS

Whether it was a true election or referendum on the current administration, the Dems are in, and here is my version of what they are putting in their Day Timer to-do listings (not in any order of importance). Whether they want to engage the President early on, or wait for him to be unemployed, only time will tell. I predict they go in quietly and test the waters, and at least pretend to reach across the aisle.

Elect a Democratic President in 2008
Iraq Troop Withdrawal
Congressional Oversight
Bolton
Patriot Act and Wiretapping Reform
Immigration Reform
Middle Class Tax Reform
National Security
Gun Control
Affordable Universal Health Care
Minimum Wage
Medicare Prescription Drug Bill
The Deficit
Fair Trade Agreements
Investigations, Subpoenas, then more Investigations

Just for the record, the Dems are actually making noises about "earmarking", a practice everyone in congress uses, sometimes for the public good, and oft times, for personal gain.

You name 'em, Hastert, Pelosi, everyone is guilty to some degree or another. I believe Mr. Abramoff termed this practice "The Favor Mill."

Look for more rhetoric involving a bridge to connect Laughlin, Nevada with Arizona, and to the eastern part of California. Guess who owns mega acres near there? News at 11....
